Yesterday got up switched Kettle on nothing happened.
Checked it out switch on kettle had broken
So out came travelling kettle very small & takes long time to heat.
So early thi morning well early for us
His Lordshp went to the shops for a new one
Came home unpacked filled with water switched on
nothing happened. tried again checked instruction
stll the same so back to the shops again
gave him money back
went to another shop
came home with a KENWOOD. one
at last one worked. so plenty of boiling water now.
very cold today have sat all afternoon doing large cross word in paper.
Now going to have Lamb & Veg cooked by His Lordship.

good job it was only a kettle. - should have used a saucepan, much quicker. xxx
it can only get better. Hope the wall plug wasn't faulty.
